## Archbee Meets the Command Line

You can now interact with Archbee directly from your terminal using the new **Archbee CLI.**

![]()

The CLI gives you a faster and more flexible way to manage documentation directly from your terminal, especially if you follow a docs-as-code workflow.

With Archbee CLI, you can:

- Create documentation projects locally and import them into Archbee when ready
- Work alongside Git workflows (GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab) to safely validate changes before pushing and creating pull requests
- Preview your documentation locally to iterate faster and with more confidence
- Edit your documentation directly from your terminal without needing to switch back and forth with the app

You can find installation instructions and more details on npm:

This is a first step toward enabling smoother local and Git-based documentation workflows, while still leveraging Archbee’s publishing and collaboration features.

## App Widget Mapping

We’ve enhanced the [App documentation widget](docId\:UJ-aqN5Ga60vjb9Mkufhf) with new mapping capabilities, giving you more control over how in-context documentation connects to your product.

![]()

You can now assign **custom identifiers to your documents** and map them directly to specific areas in your application. This allows you to reliably surface the right documentation in the right context, without depending on static document references.

This update makes in-app documentation more flexible, maintainable, and scalable as your product evolves.

## OpenID Connect (OIDC) Authentication

You can now enable **OpenID Connect (OIDC)** to provide secure Single Sign-On (SSO) access to your documentation.

OIDC allows users to authenticate using existing identity providers such as **Google, Azure, or Okta**, making it easier to manage access without requiring separate credentials.

You can enable and configure OIDC directly from your space settings under [Public Access Controls](https://www.archbee.com/docs/authentication-options), giving you more flexibility in how you secure and share your documentation.

## Inline TeX Support

You can now use **inline TeX expressions** directly within your content, including inside tables.

![]()

This makes it easier to document formulas, equations, and technical content without breaking layout or readability. Whether you’re working with scientific, financial, or engineering documentation, you can now present mathematical content more naturally across your docs.

## Small Improvements that Make Everything Feel Better

### New supported language: Finnish

We’ve added **Finnish** to the list of supported languages for [Localization](docId\:TjkbqwXi_P-k6VsxBEZMA) and AI translations.

You can now translate your documentation into Finnish as part of your localization workflows, helping you reach a broader audience with consistent and high-quality content.

### Versioning experience improvements

We’ve refined the **versioning experience **from [Version Links](docId\:fHqX4Nscf4gGNv9dI1Vsj) to make setup and usage more intuitive.

You are now guided through enabling versioning more clearly, with a smoother setup flow and improved UI. These updates make it easier to get started with versioned documentation and manage multiple versions of your content with confidence.

### Emails that don't look like 2009

We made some technical updates to how emails are delivered through our portal, so things run smoother behind the scenes.

We also took the opportunity to freshen up the look: cleaner layout, better typography, more breathing room. Nothing dramatic, just the kind of quiet upgrade that makes everything feel more put together.
