Why technical writing teams choose Archbee

A Quickstart article being written in the Archbee editor
#1Authoring

New writers onboarded in less than a week

A new hire sits in training for weeks before writing a single line - while your team covers for them.

Archbee's simple markdown and WYSIWYG editors aren't syntax-heavy like XML - new hires start contributing from day one.

No ramp-up cost. No coverage needed.

“We chose Archbee because it is markdown-based, supports both internal and external sharing, and it has a good editor.”

#2docs-as-code

Engineers too contribute through docs-as-code

Engineers won't leave GitHub to document - leaving you to chase changes across two places.

Archbee's two-way GitHub sync bridges both - their Git updates reflect in Archbee, yours go back as a PR for their approval.

Engineers will contribute - but without you chasing.

“We enabled two-way sync between GitHub and Archbee, and it provided us with a simple way to keep the docs up to date.”

#3Collaborating

All reviews live in the same doc

You follow up on pending reviews offline, chase down feedback, and still get held accountable when something slips through.

Archbee brings reviewers directly into the document - inline comments, threads, and approvals in the same place the content lives.

Nothing gets lost - and every reviewer sees exactly where things stand.

“Review system and comment features work really well in Archbee.”

#4Publishing

Content updates go live in seconds

Fixing a typo shouldn't eat into your day - no matter the limitations.

Archbee removes the build cycle entirely - edit, save, and your content is live.

Your docs ship the moment your product does.

“We needed a documentation platform for our users that we could roll out fast and easily update. Archbee checked all the boxes.”

#5Content Scaling

Write once, publish everywhere

Imagine the number of times you've copied the same product description, warning note, or disclaimer. Monotonous and exhausting.

Archbee's reusable snippets let you write once and reuse across every page that needs it.

Update in one place, reflects everywhere - no duplication, and a fraction of the maintenance.

“We chose Archbee CCMS because it checked content reusability & fit our budget. Creating reusable blocks helps us keep content consistent without constantly copying and pasting.”

#6Content Scaling

Multiple languages without additional effort

A new language request lands. You know exactly what that means - and it's not writing.

Archbee's AI translates your articles' first draft with no effort of switching tools, importing or exporting.

Translate up to 15 languages - without translation eating your day.

“One of our biggest challenges with Flare was translation. With Archbee's AI translation, it automatically translates our content into the language of your choice.”

Display rules serving one document to several audiences
#7Content Scaling

One document, multiple outputs

You've duplicated the same document more times than you'd like to admit - just to make minor tweaks for a different audience.

Archbee's display rules let you control what each audience sees from a single document.

One source. Multiple views. Zero duplication.

Unlike other CCMSs, Archbee does not stop at publishing - it hosts too!

Most Component Content Management Systems stop at publishing - leaving you to figure out hosting through a separate integration with 3rd party tools.

Archbee takes it all the way to your customers - all native, no handoff.

And you get all the other perks - custom domain, uptime SLA, and what not.

Frequently asked questions

Will we lose all our existing documentation when we move?

No.

Your content doesn’t disappear, it just changes format.

Most teams bring their documentation into Archbee and restructure it as they go. Instead of doing a risky “big bang” migration, they usually move things step by step.

Will we lose variables, reuse, and conditional content?

No.

You won’t lose them. But you also won’t have to depend on them the same way. In Flare, a lot of your documentation structure is built around variables and conditions.

In Archbee, you still have reusable content and display rules, but the system doesn’t rely on them to function.

Will we have to completely reorganize everything from scratch?

Not completely - but some rethinking is actually helpful.

Most teams don’t carry over their exact structure from Flare because it’s tied to how Flare works. Instead, they reorganize around how people actually use the docs - by product, audience, or use case.

Will we lose control over who can access what?

No.

If anything, this is where teams usually gain more clarity.

In Flare, access is often handled outside the documentation itself.

In Archbee, access is part of how the content is structured - so you can decide what is public, what is private, and what is restricted, all within the same system.

Will our versioning and release workflows break?

No.

But they will likely become simpler.

Instead of managing large project builds and releases, teams move toward lighter workflows - drafting, reviewing, and publishing updates as needed.

What happens to our translation process?

You don’t lose it - but it usually changes.

Today, translation often sits outside your documentation workflow (export → translate → import).

In Archbee, teams tend to bring that process closer to where the content lives, so updates and translations stay in sync more easily.

Will migration disrupt our current workflows?

It doesn’t have to.

Most teams don’t stop what they’re doing and switch overnight.

They start small - one product, one team, or one type of documentation - and expand from there.
